Is My Toilet Compatible?

Almost all standard two-piece toilets are compatible. For one-piece toilets, check for clearance behind the seat.

One-Piece or Two-Piece: Spotting the Difference

The most common residential style toilet. If you have one, great! Our Alpha Bidets will fit.

The tank and bowl are molded into a seamless unit. If you have one, check the Special Cases section below.

Measuring Your Bowl: Elongated or Round?

The JX2, iX Pure and UX Pearl models need just 1.5" of clearance, while the GX Wave needs at least 1.75".
5.5" is standard (required by the JX2). The UX Pearl, iX Pure, and GX/GXR Wave work with anything between 5"–7".
Bowl sizes are usually 18.5" for elongated and about 16.5" for round (measured from the bolts).

If your 1 piece toilet's tank meets the bowl at close to a 90 degree angle, then it's compatible.

If your 1 piece toilet has a tank where the sides curve forward, then it MAY NOT be compatible. Contact us for more details.

Some elongated toilets have a more compact bowl and not full size. We'd recommend the UX Pearl or iX Pure for best results, but the JX2 also works.

Skirted toilets have a concealed trapway for easy cleaning. They are usually compatible with Alpha Bidets, but may require extra installation parts.
